Well the rain has stopped and we went out for a ride yesterday and conditions were great. Some muddy sections but overall the main trails are in great condition.

Fireflies in Tuonela Wilderness Resort forest

About the Tuonela Wilderness Resort
Tuonela Wilderness Resort began in 1997 as a winter Telemark, Cross Country skiing destination. Located high in the Cape Breton Highlands it quickly become the mecca for Atlantic Canada Telemark and Cross Country skiers. As the resort expanded the request for opening in the summer continued and 2009 marks the resort’s first summer with hiking, mountain biking, geo-caching and more.
