Tuonela Wilderness Resort is an ideal location for corporate retreats, training camps and group functions.

Tuonela Wilderness Resort began in 1997 as a winter Telemark skiing destination. Located high in the Cape Breton Highlands it quickly become the mecca for Atlantic Canada Telemark and cross country skiers.  As the resort expanded the request for opening in the summer continued and 2009 marks the resort’s first summer.

A true wilderness experience, we have accommodations for up to 25-30 people with activities as Mountain Biking, Atlantic Canada Hiking, Bird Watching, geo caching, frisbee golf, and more. This is a true Atlantic Canada wilderness experience, you will not find any microwaves here. Tuonela Wilderness resort is your place to Get Away From it All.

Your hosts are Matt & Allison Clark with their two children Nathan & Georgia. The Clark’s are avid adventurers and believe that life is a playground and bring that to the resort and to each guests adventure at the Off The Grid Tuonela Wilderness.
